Are you the Residential Director we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by leading a dynamic team and bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our youth!
The Merrimack Center, a DMH-licensed and JCAHO-accredited program, provides exceptional residential services for adolescents ages 13 to 18 with major mental illness, intellectual disabilities, autism, and complex trauma histories. We provide comprehensive therapeutic care, including an onsite special education school, complete onsite clinical services, nursing staff, occupational therapy, and a 24-hour therapeutic milieu within a locked residential treatment program.
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000
Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.
JRI provides the training so that:
- YOU will be able to oversight of the Residential Department with the Senior Residential Department members and provide care and treatment of our youth.
- YOU will be able to ensure all Residential systems are being followed and completed on a daily basis and provide on call coverage.
- YOU will be able to provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures; staffing ratios are being met at all times and provide accountability and disciplinary action decisions as needed for all Residential Staff.
- YOU will be able to lead residential meetings and trainings, and runs residential shifts when needed.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years in a Supervisor/Management role in a residential or mental health program required.
- On call responsibilities, at times you will be required to work overtime.
- Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
- At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
