Are you the Occupational Therapist we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by leading a dynamic clinical team and bring an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients!  

Little Heroes Home is a Group Home treatment setting for latency-aged students that specializes in trauma informed care. Little Heroes provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.  

This is a part time 12-hour a week position. Schedule can be flexible on days. Looking for afternoon coverage, could potentially be morning weekends if desired.

Salary:
$30.00/hr

JRI provides the training so that:  

  • YOU will be able to provide OT services while developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with clinicians by selecting therapeutic activities designed to achieve therapeutic goals for our students such as; self-care and wellness, independent life skills, and sensory modulation, etc. as well as activities of daily living 
  • YOU will be able to provide documentation on service recipient’s treatment plans, progress, and evaluation results per OT policy to provide information concerning content and effectiveness of Occupational Therapy treatment, recommend additional interventions, as indicated. 
  • YOU will be able to create a safe and therapeutic community by supporting students in developing and by role modeling effective coping strategies.

Requirements:  

  • Must be 21 years of age.  
  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required. 
  • Experience working with diverse families, cultures, children and adolescents preferred. 
  • Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting clients is required.  
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.  
  • At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our clients!  
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
