ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building a dedicated AI Consulting practice to drive enterprise-wide AI transformation, spanning both the SAP AI ecosystem (Joule, AI Core, Build) and the Microsoft AI ecosystem (Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI). As our AI Business Analyst, you will act as the central business owner of the AI idea portfolio — from first concept through to measurable business value.

This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. You will evaluate incoming AI ideas from across the organisation, quantify their business value, prioritise them against a structured framework, work directly with idea owners to refine scope, author solution design documentation, and then map each idea to the most suitable technology stack — SAP AI, Microsoft AI, or a combination of both. Once an idea moves into delivery, you will continue to own it like a product manager: tracking usage, monitoring adoption, and ensuring the promised business value is actually realised after go-live.

In many ways, this mirrors the discipline of enterprise RPA and process automation transformations: identifying repetitive or exception-heavy processes, building the business case, and driving adoption until the automation actually delivers measurable value. If you have led or contributed to an RPA or automation transformation programme before, you already understand the core rhythm of this role — we are simply applying that same discipline to AI-driven automation instead of rule-based bots.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager in enterprise technology or digital/AI transformation programmes
• Demonstrated experience evaluating, scoring, and prioritising technology or AI initiatives using structured business value frameworks
• Proven ability to author clear solution design documents and functional specifications that bridge business needs and technical delivery
• Hands-on product ownership experience: defining success metrics, tracking usage/adoption, and reporting on realised business value post-launch
• Working knowledge of at least one major enterprise AI ecosystem — either SAP AI (Joule, AI Core, Build) or Microsoft AI (Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Power Platform)
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience facilitating workshops and presenting to senior business and technical audiences
• Proficiency in English (written & verbal)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience managing or contributing to RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or business process automation transformation programmes — including process analysis, automation opportunity identification, and business case development — is considered a strong and highly relevant asset, given the close parallels between RPA-driven and AI-driven transformation approaches
• Hands-on project experience spanning both the SAP AI ecosystem and the Microsoft AI ecosystem is a strong plus
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (RISE) and core ERP processes (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or Azure AI Foundry
• Experience with usage analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) for tracking adoption and value realisation
• Product management training or certification (e.g., CSPO or equivalent)
• Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts and their enterprise applications
• Experience operating within an Agile/Scrum delivery model

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Collect, structure, and maintain a centralised AI idea backlog spanning all business units and divisions involved in the AI transformation programme
• Evaluate incoming AI ideas for business value, feasibility, and strategic fit using structured prioritisation frameworks (e.g., weighted scoring models, effort/value matrices)
• Engage directly with idea owners and business stakeholders to clarify scope, validate assumptions, and refine ideas into actionable initiatives
• Author solution design documents that translate business requirements into clear functional approaches, ready for technical teams to estimate and build
• Perform technology mapping for each prioritised idea — determining whether SAP AI (Joule, AI Core, Build), Microsoft AI (Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Power Platform), or a hybrid approach best fits the use case
• Act as the product owner for each approved AI initiative: define success metrics, coordinate with technical delivery teams, and manage the initiative through to go-live
• Set up and maintain usage tracking and value-realisation metrics for every deployed AI solution, ensuring adoption and business impact are measured, not assumed
• Produce regular portfolio-level reporting on idea pipeline status, prioritisation outcomes, delivery progress, and realised business value for leadership review
• Facilitate AI ideation workshops and stakeholder interviews across business divisions to continuously feed the idea pipeline
• Collaborate closely with SAP AI and Microsoft AI technical teams to ensure solution designs are technically feasible and aligned with platform capabilities
• Drive change management and adoption activities post-launch, working with business owners to maximise sustained usage and value capture
