ABOUT THE ROLE

As an SAP Build & Joule Studio Developer within our newly established SAP AI Consulting team, you will design and deliver intelligent, low-code AI-powered solutions for enterprise clients running SAP S/4HANA on RISE Private Cloud.

You will leverage SAP Build (Process Automation, Apps, Work Zone) together with SAP Joule Studio to create conversational AI experiences, automated workflows, and AI-augmented user interfaces. This is a hands-on development role that sits at the intersection of SAP's low-code platform capabilities and the emerging Generative AI toolchain.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP BTP administration experience (Cloud Foundry or Multi-Cloud runtime)
• Proven experience configuring SAP AI Core and SAP AI Launchpad in a client environment
• Deep expertise in SAP Cloud Identity Services — including SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) for application onboarding and SSO configuration, SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) for user lifecycle management, and XSUAA service instance configuration on BTP
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite (formerly SAP CPI) including iFlow development and API Management
• Hands-on experience with SAP Joule setup and troubleshooting in S/4HANA environments
• Proficiency in MTA deployment, SAP Cloud Transport Management, and BTP DevOps toolchain
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML 2.0, and SSO configuration patterns on BTP
• Proven experience designing and implementing Cloud SSO and Identity Management solutions in enterprise environments, including corporate IdP federation, multi-application SSO configuration, and identity lifecycle automation
• Hands-on expertise in SAP Build Work Zone administration, including site and content provider configuration, SAP Mobile Start integration, and role-based content assignment for S/4HANA and BTP applications
• Proficiency in English (written & verbal)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience developing custom Joule skills with multi-turn dialogue flows
• Knowledge of SAP AI Core API for connecting Build solutions to custom ML models
• SAP BTP Developer or SAP Build certification
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / API Management)
• Background in UX/UI design principles for enterprise applications
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Fiori extensibility

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and implement SAP BTP global account and subaccount structures tailored to client AI workload requirements (development, test, production)
• Provision and configure SAP AI Core service instances including resource group setup, Docker registry integration, and Git-based workflow configuration
• Set up and maintain SAP AI Launchpad and SAP Generative AI Hub connections, including foundation model onboarding and quota management
• Configure SAP Joule activation on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud: maintain prerequisite technical settings, IAS/IPS trust, and SAP Build Work Zone integration required for Joule availability
• Establish and maintain SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration and API Management) integration flows connecting S/4HANA, BTP AI services, and external systems
• Implement BTP security model: XSUAA service instances, IAS/IPS configuration, role collections, trust settings, and audit logging
• Manage BTP entitlement planning, quota consumption monitoring, and cost optimisation across services
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for BTP artefact transport (MTA build/deploy) using SAP Cloud Transport Management
• Produce and maintain platform architecture documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Act as escalation point for BTP platform issues and liaise with SAP support on infrastructure-level incidents
