IT Operations Engineer

iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join our Team in Los Angeles, CA!
*THIS IS A ONE YEAR W2 CONTRACT POSITION*
*MUST WORK ONSITE IN PLAYA VISTA AND MUST BE FLUENT IN MANDARIN*
The successful candidate will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for office staff, game developers, and production teams. Additional responsibilities include maintaining workplace systems and network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and rapid incident resolution.
Responsibilities:
•Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support (hardware, OS, software, peripherals).
•Support game development workstations and performance-critical tools.
•Troubleshoot network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches).
•Maintain on-prem servers, storage, virtualization, and build pipelines.
•Monitor system health, resolve incidents, and escalate when required.
•Maintain documentation, asset inventory, and operational runbooks.
•Improve IT workflows, automation, and service efficiency.
•Support CI/CD systems, version control, and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Perforce).
•Support game development workstations and performance-critical tools.

Qualifications:
•Two+ years in IT operations, service desk, or infrastructure support.
•Experience supporting Windows and macOS in production environments.
•Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
•Hands-on experience with on-prem servers or virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V).
•Familiarity with DevOps tools or build systems in game or software environments.
•Experience troubleshooting PC hardware, GPUs, and peripherals.
•Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
•Clear communication with developers, artists, and production teams.
•Ability to prioritize in fast-paced studio environments.
•Proactive, detail-oriented, and service-driven.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Game Studio/DevOps).
•Experience supporting game engines (Unity/Unreal).
•Knowledge of Perforce, Git, Jenkins, build farms, render farms.
•Experience with high-performance workstations or GPU pipelines.
•Exposure to on-prem DevOps automation and build systems.
•Exposure to or experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Perforce).

Pay Range: $40-$47/hour
