iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking a HR Generalist to join our Team in Plano, Texas! 
Full Time Position Onsite 
 
Summary:  
Come join our dynamic growing IT consulting and service company as an integral part of the HR/Admin Team. We are looking for someone who has expertise in the full scope of Human Resources, and can work independently, uses discretion and independent judgement, and is passionate about providing confidential high-level HR services and enhancing employee experiences. This role will support HR strategies, policies, and programs. The ideal candidate should be motivated by challenges, and opportunities for growth, detail oriented, maintains confidentiality, is a team player, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required. The HR Generalist reports to the Director of Human Resources.  
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Plan, develop, implement, and administer Human Resources policies, objectives, procedures, processes, and systems. 
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to effectively share best practices, collaborate, and support business initiatives through strategic partnerships.   
  • Draft, edit, and format policies & procedures and professional companywide communications.  
  • Help maintain performance review programs, compensation review, employee retention, engagement and team building programs, and employment onboarding and offboarding (termination) procedures. 
  • Support payroll processing and convey information to payroll team. 
  • Manage most of the onboarding process (System changes in ADP Workforce Now and Salesforce, employee communications, from offer letter to one month post hire check-in process, including background screening, new hire orientations, systems setup, and first day meeting coordination. 
  • Manage most of the offboarding process: System changes in ADP Workforce Now and Salesforce, employee communications, and conveying information to payroll team). Conduct exit interviews for outgoing employees, identifying themes and areas for action or improvement. 
  • Maintain current documents and compliance requirements for I9s, including OPT/CPT, H1B, and L visa work authorizations. Work with the internal immigration specialist to ensure timely immigration action. 
  • Oversee the administration of our ADP HRIS and reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (for internal and compliance purposes), and personnel data integrity.  
  • Keep updated, and assist in managing compliance of all federal, state, and local workplace laws and regulations. 
  • Support employee engagement - company meetings, events, and initiatives that build and reinforce positive company culture and communication. 
  • Support facility and administrative operations for the offices. 
  • Benefits administration and point of contact for employees and benefit carriers to answer questions and quickly trouble shoot to locate issues for efficient and effective resolutions.  
  • Participate in the evaluation of benefits. Implement employee benefit programs including retirement plans, unemployment, health insurance, life and disability insurance program and PTO programs to achieve cost efficiency and consistency across regions and divisions. 
  • Support employee training and development initiatives to upskill and retain talent.  
  • Handle employee relations with utmost sensitivity and confidentiality and provide guidance and support to ensure consistent and fair adherence to internal policies. 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.  
 Additional Responsibilities:  
  • Support key stakeholders in furthering business goals through strategic initiatives and planning through coaching of best practices as a trusted business partner. 
  • Coach managers in areas of growth and responsibilities 
  • Relationship building with department contacts to ensure strong collaboration and smooth coordination of processes within the company.  
 Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.  
  • 3- 5 years’ experience gained through increasingly responsible positions within Human Resources with a minimum of three years’ recent experience as human resources lead of a company with multiple divisions and geographic locations, preferably in the IT service sector.  
  • 2+ years’ experience with ADP Workforce Now.  
  • Deep and broad knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits and 401k, immigration, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development. 
  • Extensive experience in developing HR objectives, policies, and procedures. 
  • Experience with Benefits Administration, 401(k), and leave programs including design, cost analysis, and implementation. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and protect Human Resources/Payroll information. 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.   
  • Exceptional attention to details, organizational, analytical, time management and proofreading skills, ability to multitask and handle competing deadlines. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills.  
  • Ability to quickly pivot and must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and last-minute changes.  
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and customer service skills with a variety of employees, ranging from executive to entry level.  
  • Exceptional skills in reading, speaking, and written English.  
  • Ability to consider problems through the wider scope of the issue than the immediate implications and consider all impacted parties and broader implications as a part of the decision-making process.  
  • Must be located in or around Plano, Texas. 
 Preferred Qualifications: 
  • PHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.  
  • Chinese language skills, experience with a global workforce and Accessibility are a plus. 
 
Primary Location Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
