About the Role

IPSY is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Merchandising Planner to join the IPSY Commerce Merchandising Team. The planner will manage merchandising planning processes, and provide reporting on planning objectives. You are the perfect fit if you are an analytical problem solver, ultra-organized, have excellent attention to detail, a positive professional attitude, and the ability to work on a dynamic team. 

This position will be based in our Buenos Aires, Argentina office.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage merchandise planning processes for segments of the IPSY commerce business
  • Partner with the merchandising team to book products that enable the revenue and profitability targets
  • Develop analysis needed to build merchandising strategy for brand plans, product category plans, and price point plans
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting on product performance, revenue, and profit objectives
  • Track and approve purchase orders, organize merchandising buying plans
  • Track the progress of product bookings, and manage product inventory levels
  • Work on a cross-functional team from Merchandising, Brand Partnerships, Operations, and Member Journey teams as necessary

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree
  • Experience in analytics, management consulting, merchandising planning, or finance roles
  • Strong analytical skills, proven ability to set up models that help inform business decisions
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, project management, and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and familiarity with Tableau
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Interest in retail, beauty, or fashion
