The VP of Education and Research will have the unique opportunity to innovate, champion and promote the importance of education as it relates to our services. Success will be achieved by creating solutions, elevating the SatisFacts and ApartmentRatings brands, and developing strong partnerships, while delivering critical solutions to our clients and the multifamily industry. 
 
Job Requirements – The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a corporate-level education/training position for a multifamily management company
- Executive level presenter with public speaking experience
- Executive presence and the ability to match rapport at all levels in the business
- Working knowledge of the types of products and services offered by SatisFacts and ApartmentRatings
- Strategic thinker with broad perspective; demonstrates an acute attention to detail and ability to execute flawlessly
- High proficiency of written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional analytic and diagnostic skills, with a data-driven and metrics-driven approach 
- Understand business demand and forecast for current and future training needs and facilitate provision of solutions
- Extensive experience with blended method training solutions (webinar, in-person, e-learning) within a corporate learning setting
- Content development and curriculum design experience with knowledge of adult learning principles
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, influence and execute impeccably
- Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic environment
- Ideal traits include caring/professional demeanor, organized, self-motivated, positive attitude, collaborative, with the ability to prioritize and adapt swiftly to changes in priorities
- Advanced proficiency level of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
 
Job Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments that may inform our approach to education and training 
- Analyze survey results, prepare and conduct review sessions for clients at both corporate and on-site levels
- Identify, assess, and address key factors impacting performance
- Leverage both quantitative and qualitative insight to clients to strengthen their online reputation and on-site experience
- Follow up with clients to reinforce best practices and recommendations for improvement
- Routinely evaluate the effectiveness of learning opportunities to ensure continuous improvement and that these programs, content, curriculum and delivery methods meet the current and future needs of our clients.
- Post training responsibilities include measuring and tracking training effectiveness to ensure learning retention, relevance and, where possible, ROI. 
- Maintain a consistent presence within the multifamily industry by authoring white papers, blog posts, creating infographics and publishing articles
- Participate in strategic planning, budgeting and management of the department; manage departmental efforts so they dovetail with organization’s priorities
- Implement company initiatives and programs into training to ensure internal team is fully trained
- Contribute to a variety of special projects and perform administrative duties as assigned 
- Develop relationships with national and local apartment associations to secure speaking engagements 
- Travel throughout the US to speak at various industry-related events (estimated travel 30%)
- Be available to support Sales team members during proposals to high value sales targets

We expect the compensation for this role to start at $130K and and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
