Insurity's next Senior Business Analyst
Our Senior BA will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements and/or functional specifications as needed, including the determination of system impact and software configuration.
They will also participate with customers and internal functions as appropriate throughout the development, testing, and implementation processes. Research and evaluate alternative approaches and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions. They will also contribute to activities to improve quality and advance the overall analysis practice throughout the organization.
A strong desire to develop technical and business knowledge relative to the implementation of insurance processing will be needed in this role. Knowledge of commercial line of business is a must, preferably commercial auto and or property and general liability.
What our Senior Business Analyst Will Do
- Partner with customers to define business needs and elicit business requirements
- Produce artifacts that accurately depict customer needs for product implementation such as business requirements and process flow diagrams
- Facilitate requirements and design discussions
- Provide research and analysis in support of proposed solutions
- Participate in peer reviews/inspections for requirements, estimates, and specifications
- Assist in the development of supporting documentation
- Provide support as needed to internal and external customers
- Assist in the facilitation of estimating discussions and coordinating work efforts
- Accurately estimate analyst work efforts
- Provide support for testing activities
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 8 years experience with Commercial Property/Casualty Insurance recommended
- 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst recommended
- Experience with SQL and other report writing tools to review and extract data
- Extensive experience with software applications, including Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
- Ability to travel to customer locations: up to 30%

We have five Core Values at Insurity; one of which is to Act with Integrity. Providing pay transparency helps you make the best decision for you. We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps. Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $137,000, commensurate with experience.
