We are looking for a Senior Business Development Representative to join our team in Germany, reporting to the manager of Business Development Representatives. In this role, you will generate and qualify sales opportunities for follow-up by the direct sales teams. The position also entails heavy outbound calling, the use of email, and other methods of targeting and qualifying prospects. What you’ll do: 
  • Carry out presales activities to develop a high-quality lead funnel and maximize these efforts to meet or exceed quotas for calls and qualified meetings
  • Acquire and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Infoblox technology to be a reliable customer resource
  • Create opportunities within SalesForce
  • Schedule meetings with prospective clients
  • Partner closely with the Sales team, specifically territory managers and Sales executives, to develop and implement prospect strategies and plans. This includes ensuring representatives have the essential budget, key party, and project information before handing over the opportunity
  • Support multiple states within an assigned territory
  • Follow up on meetings attended with the territory manager and Sales executive 
What you’ll bring:    
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in an outbound sales environment positioning a service or technology solution; software experience preferred
  • Experience calling on senior executives and technical decision-makers within all sizes of organizations
  • Fluency in speaking German and English
  • High energy and motivation with solid attention to detail
  • Experience using sales engagement platforms, such as SalesLoft and Outreach
  • Advanced knowledge using sales qualifying methodologies, such as BANT and MEDDIC
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

After six months, you will…    
  • Articulate Infoblox benefits based on the solution
  • Meet or exceed your monthly targets
  • Provide feedback to Product teams on requested features/applications 
  • Partner with the Sales team on customer meetings and on developing a high-quality lead funnel
After about a year, you will…    
  • Build a strong pipeline and close lead opportunities
  • Be able to fully qualify an opportunity
  • Gain more experience in the expansion of customer and/or vertical coverage
  • Become a subject matter expert in qualifying and pitching Infoblox’s unique selling proposition
