Description

Our Member Services Representative will work with our SureMed members, agents, and benefit partners as a liaison that fosters easy and positive communication to problem-solve both common and unique issues. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our team to help support our thriving SureMed member base.

Responsibilities:

  • Support inbound calls and emails from members, sales agents, and benefit partners
  • Initiate outbound courtesy calls
  • Help members and answer questions about their SureMed membership benefits
  • Resolve account, payment, and enrollment issues
  • Remain knowledgeable of our unique products and procedures
  • Update department spreadsheets
  • Recognize and report compliance issues
  • Facilitate claim processing for insurance benefits
  • Participate in team meetings

Skills:

  • Highly personable and accommodating

  • Proven ability to handle multiple levels of customer issues 
  • Strong comfort with internet/cloud-based applications 
  • Client relationship management and insurance experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

This is normally an on-site position, located in Allentown, PA. In light of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have made temporary arrangements for our staff to be able to work remotely. We will soon return to our offices, at which time, remote work will not be an option for this position.
