The Opportunity: 

The Associate Client Executive (ACE) will begin their producer training and development journey in Hylant’s two-year ACE Training & Development Program.

This 2-year program offers a robust curriculum of core sales skills and insurance knowledge designed to prepare graduates for success in a Commercial Property & Casualty or Employee Benefits Producer role.

In This Role You Will Execute On:
  1. Develop an understanding and complete adoption of Hylant sales tools and processes.
  2. Develop and enhance understanding of Hylant’s servicing tools and processes.
  3. Develop and enhance knowledge of the insurance marketplace, products, and services.
  4. Develop the ability to present professionally in all elements of client facing (internal and external) including technical writing and verbal presentations.
  5. Support senior staff in the solicitation and servicing of clients and prospects throughout the full insurance brokerage deal flow process.
  6. Assist with client preparation work such as creating presentations, proposals, etc.
  7. Assist in coverage analysis and policy reviews; developing competence to provide options based on determination of client needs.
  8. Develop the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with external client contacts and internal Hylant stakeholders.
  9. Participate in social and professional networking, charitable events, or other organizations and events that advance the Hylant brand.
  10. Perform other duties and special projects as requested.


In This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Completed internal insurance brokerage education/training.
  • Active Property & Casualty or Life & Health License, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Basic analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exception oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
