Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining all existing and new configuration models, BOM’s, item master and correct problems and improve accuracy of programming, test and implement as directed by Engineering.
  • Maintain/Search/Print CBOMs, including mark-ups, standard changes, custom variations, etc.
  • Must be able to create/change/obsolete/use to depletion/expire new and existing parts and kits within the MRP/Configurator systems.  This includes understanding inventory-related issues, how changes impact inventory and other departments when changes are made and the coordination with those departments for required changes.
  • Assist in creating/maintaining/distributing Engineering Design/Application Guidelines and Manuals.
  • Coordinate ECO changes with all affected functional departments (e.g. Purchasing, Product Support Specialist, Stockroom, Production, and Engineering).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Team Leader.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience with Production Planning Systems is a must
  • Experience in a manufacturing operation
  • Knowledge of Product Configurator programming
  • Planning and Organization
  • Problem solving and analysis
  • Understand and program logic

Other Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Must be able to interface effectively with all departments involved with ECO changes.
  • Overtime may be required
