Exciting Job Opportunity: District Technician Trainer

Key Responsibilities: 

Empower Technicians: Utilize your extensive experience in refrigeration and accessories, coupled with your profound understanding of HVAC/R systems, to impart essential knowledge and skills to our technicians. 

Program Leadership: Take charge of our Southwest Department of Labor Certification Program, guiding and inspiring the next generation of technicians towards successful careers. 

Course Development: Collaborate with the team to design and implement advanced training courses that elevate our technicians' capabilities and pave the way for their professional growth. Conducts ongoing evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommends modifications as necessary. This includes DOT and EPA compliance.  

Skills Evaluation: Evaluate technicians' skill sets and align training programs to ensure they are equipped with the necessary expertise to excel in their roles. 

Coaching and feedback: Willing to provide one-on-one training with technicians and managers. Conduct coaching sessions as required, ensuring that each technician receives tailored support to reach their fullest potential. 

Soft Skills Training: Ensure that technicians are effectively trained on communicating with external/internal customers regarding critical repairs and maintenance requirements, fostering strong relationships and customer satisfaction. 

Continuous Improvement: Play a vital role in developing and measuring existing company procedures, methods, equipment performance, and work quality to foster ongoing improvement. 

Qualifications: 

Experience: 5-10 years’ experience, HVAC/R industry experience strongly preferred. Ideally you will possess hands-on experience in refrigeration equipment installation, and repair. 

Travel Opportunities: Embrace the chance to travel up to 50% of the time, including out-of-state visits, to support our teams and ensure excellence across the district. 

Communication Skills: Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be instrumental in coaching and guiding others to success. 

Technical Support: You will be the go-to expert for providing technical support to our service and installation technicians during regular working hours and beyond.
