RPI Sales Coordinator
Description
The Sales Coordinator role ensures smooth communication and processes between sales, customers, and operational departments to support RPI’s customer satisfaction and revenue growth. This role ensures orders are processed efficiently, customer needs are met, and sales targets are achieved. In this role, you will collaborate closely with RPI’s Sales Representative throughout the entire order-to-delivery process, reviewing documentation for accuracy and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment, where multitasking and prioritization are key. In this role, you may travel up to 10% of the time
Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise, and process sales quotes and proposals.
- Track open quotes and follow up with customers or sales reps to drive closure.
- Support sales team with customer research, product information, and documentation needs.
- Assist with outside sales efforts by conducting client outreach and follow-up, participating in community engagement or client presentations, and coordinating promotional material and events with marketing.
- Provide product demonstrations and training to clients, enabling them to maximize the utility and benefits of RPI’s equipment.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or add additional products or services to benefit the client and to maximize additional RPI revenue opportunities.
- Serve as a point of contact for inbound customer inquiries on current and prospective sales activity, handle escalations, and route issues to appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with our sales and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience and timely delivery of products.
- Provide/coordinate product demonstrations and training for clients, enabling them to maximize the benefits of RPI’s equipment.
- Enter and manage purchase orders, service agreements, and client engagement activities in the CRM/ERP.
- Ensure accuracy of order and approval documentation, contract terms, or billing details.
- Support accounting teams with monthly billing, invoicing, and reconciliation activities as needed.
- Maintain organized records for purchase orders, service contracts, warranties, and customer history.
- Prepare sales performance reports as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- 1–5 years’ experience in sales or service coordination, administrative support, or related field; experience with equipment sales or material handling equipment a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), ERP or order management systems (e.g., Point-of-Rental, RentalMan), and CRM tools.
- Valid Driver’s License
