Accountabilities
  • Guide planning team in your respective vertical (social, search & programmatic) in the execution of media strategies and recommendations
  • Oversee all titles across your vertical from initial build through post campaign analysis
  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of all titles within your vertical
  • Manage individual tactical documents (ie. Creative Deadlines, Plan Details, Inputs Tabs)
  • In depth check for accuracy and quality assurance of all documents and executions within your vertical
  • React to performance of media proactively and in real time
  • See red flags and identify solutions
  • Manage internal timelines to meet external deadline
  • Allocate adequate time for senior review and feedback
  • Creation and delivery of thought pieces (POVs)
 Relationships & Communication
  • Attend and participate in Client/Agency meetings
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external partners (ie. media vendors)
  • Understand the media landscape and meet with vendors to proactively keep abreast of trends
  • Support client email/phone communication as necessary and required
  • Effectively communicate with leadership team (AMD and up) and direct reports to maintain efficient workflow
Team
  • Collaborate with other Managers/Supervisors to build holistic strategies and plans
  • Manage the day-to-day workload of performance planners and assistant
  • Provide constructive feedback to planner and assistant level team members in a timely manner
  • Effectively solve problems, escalating media or billing issues when necessary
