Essential Functions:  

  • Collaborates and communicates with engineers to understand goals and objectives of testing projects.
  • Reads, interprets, and redlines electrical and mechanical assemblies and drawings.
  • Sets up and aligns machine tools.
  • Verifies correct fit and function of assemblies.
  • Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
  • Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring.
  • Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment.
  • Performs installations and start-ups of equipment.
  • Inspects parts to ensure specifications are met.
  • Assembles mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Calibrates equipment and machinery to specifications.
  • Provides guided support for all automated equipment.
  • Assists in testing parts, equipment, and machinery to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control.
  • Records test procedures and results.
  • Analyzes test results in relation to specifications and objectives; modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications.
  • Reports issues to supervisor and/or engineering team.
  • Utilizes Computer Aided Design.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to travel 1-3 times a year.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in maintenance, automation, mechanical equipment, or related field required.
  • Fabrication and welding experience required.
  • Familiarity with UL 508 and NFPA 70.
  • Familiarity with general machining and Computer Numerical Control (CNC).
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).


Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Leveling and actual pay rate dependent on experience.
