The Retail Marketing Manager is a critical contributor to the overall Funko Marketing function, responsible for the day-to-day communication and coordination with Funko’s retail/wholesale partners. Acting as the liaison between Funko Marketing and key retail/wholesale accounts, the Retail Marketing Specialist will drive brand continuity for key campaigns, exclusive product launches, and the Funko brand overall. 

A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, the ideal candidate will be agile with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing landscape.  Willing to work independently and also collaboratively, the Retail Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Funko Marketing and will gather insights from across the Marketing function to inform best-in-class marketing practices with our retail/wholesale partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the key point of contact for marketing related questions and requests for over 12+ critical partner accounts.

  • Own day-to-day retail marketing coordination and execution, including but not limited to, asset development, asset delivery, promotions, and merchandising.

  • Partner with select retail/wholesale accounts to deliver co-branded campaigns that drive sell-thru and consideration for both brands.

  • Represent retail marketing within the larger Funko Marketing org; acting as a voice for retail/wholesale accounts and keeping partner interests in mind from a broader, go-to-market perspective.

  • Create marketing materials for retail websites and other marketing platforms, with a can-do attitude related to virtual store-front updates and partner site updates as needed.

  • Industry research, competitive analysis and ongoing content review

  • Support the Funko Marketing team with ad-hoc requests related to retail/wholesale marketing more broadly.

  • Analyze marketing and performance data, including campaign results, conversion rates and online traffic to improve future marketing strategies and campaign

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years of Retail Marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), Google Analytics, and CRM and CMS software.

  • Comfort working with all levels of leadership across Funko and retail/partner brands

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Project management skills

  • Tapped into pop-culture and fandoms with an in-depth understanding of consumer affinities across film/television, music, sports, anime, etc.

  • Passion for improving the customer experience 

Salary Information  
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $73,600 - 92,000 annually. ​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
