(This is a hybrid role and candidates must be located in the Ottawa Area or willing to relocate to the Ottawa Area.)  

What You Will Do  

As a Cloud Release and Compliance Program Manager at Forescout Canada, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to secure the digital world. You will work closely with our agile engineering teams across multiple countries to coordinate timely software releases and feature flag deployments for larger feature increments. You will also ensure compliance with SOC2 and FedRAMP standards, leveraging your understanding of information security in cloud and on-premise data collection and analytics. 

  • Manage the end-to-end release process for cloud software, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing releases for multiple applications across various geographies.
  • Collaborate with agile sprint teams to ensure coordinated delivery of weekly software releases and use feature flags for deploying larger feature increments.
  • Monitor and report on development, testing, and deployment stages' progress.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC2 and FedRAMP programs, managing the collection, storage, and reporting of compliance data.
  • Coordinate and manage software compliance assessments and audits for new and existing certifications.
  • Administer and report on application usage, cost and licensing.
  • Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks, create and implement corrective action plans, and provide guidance to avoid or handle similar situations.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with SOC2 and FedRAMP requirements.
  • Serve as a primary contact for internal and external compliance inquiries.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product releases with business strategy.
  • Work in a hybrid model (both remote and onsite).

What You Bring To Forescout 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, software release management, compliance, and information security within a cloud environment.
  • Expertise in SOC2 and FedRAMP compliance requirements and processes.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Monday.com for project management.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, working with sprint teams and feature flags for software release.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of information security principles, particularly in cloud and on-premise data collection and analytics.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • PMP, CISM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
