North Texas SC Marketing & Operations Intern

This internship allows the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment, and marketing industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required. The purpose of this internship is to assist the North Texas SC team with the daily duties involved with the MLS Next Pro League team, and NTSC. 

    1. All positions for Interns pay $8.00 per hour and are non negotiable, will this be an issue?
    2. The positions are not work from home positions and will need to report to the Arlington Office; will this be an issue?
    3. The position will require you to work some nights, weekends, and holidays, will this be an issue?
    4. We do not provide Work Visa Sponsorship for interns, will this be an issue?

What You’ll Do: 

  • Assist with the execution of grassroots style marketing events for NTSC, which includes set-up of event assets and interacting with fans in the DFW Metroplex.
  • Implement Ticket Sales goals and objectives to increase fan engagement.
  • Compile ideas for social media, player specific content, and gameday support.
  • Monitor external and internal environment to identify new opportunities, projects, and promotions for North Texas SC.
  • Provide support to Gameday Operations to include set up, tear down, and event management.
  • Facilitate requests made by front office staff, vendors, League officials and others as needed.
  • Create timelines, itineraries, and checklists prior to events.
  • Coordinate pre-game events on the field in accordance with MLS rules and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain all proper documentation and files for all events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by North Texas SC team.

You Are: 

  • A passionate sports fan with advanced soccer knowledge.
  • Enthusiastic, upbeat, and a self-starter student.
  • A team player who is creative and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
  • Capable of working under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Required to be able to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on game schedule.

Qualifications: 

  • Must be an active college student. Preferably pursing a degree and/or career in Sports Management, Marketing or Public Relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal plus verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of event management, marketing, and public relations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese) is preferred, but not required.
