Stadium Groundskeeper
Job Summary
As a Groundskeeper with FC Dallas, you will work with our Stadium team to maintain our professional sports fields. We are one of the first soccer-specific stadiums built in the United States and have hosted several high-profile soccer matches among other sporting events at Toyota Stadium & Toyota Soccer Center.
Responsibilities
- Assist in stadium field event set up: soccer matches, concerts, football games.
- Operate and maintain turf management equipment.
- Assist in stadium field and training field set up (soccer matches, trainings, concerts, football games).
- Assist with complex field management and setup as needed.
- Irrigation management and repair.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hardworking, reliable, and have a can-do attitude.
• A team player who is open to learn and develop expertise in grass & turf management.
• 1 or more years’ experience in sports field management recommended but not required.
• Experience operating turf management equipment.
Requirements:
• Able to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
