We are seeking a talented and professional Sr. Consultant (Cloud Architect Skillset) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Transform innovative concepts into practical solutions.
- Provides advanced-level engineering design functions.
- Architect provisioning capabilities of Azure or AWS services and configure services, using tools and languages.
- Develops complex solutions from business requirements and architectural specifications; provides input to set or amend architectural specifications.
- Creates presentations and seeks IT managements approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major business systems serving the enterprise.
- Directs the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture.)
- Participates in the design of the enterprise architecture.
- Proposes opportunities to improve results based on targeted or continuous assessment.
- Participates in enterprise planning activity, including vendor assessment, technology platform selection and retirement, prioritization, and integration.
- Provide operational readiness for applications that enables seamless 24x7x365 production support and technical support.
- Design performance and capacity plans and work to ensure optimal application health and performance.
- Serve as a strategist and continuously refine our AWS or Azure deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability, and security.
- Drive effective Security practices (including regular security patching, minimum-permissions accounts, and policies, encrypt everything) in compliance with healthcare and other standards regulations (such as HIPPA, HITRUST, ISO 27000, SOC), implement, and verify them, using tools to analyze and verify compliance.
- Design and implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for on-prem and Azure or AWS.
- Committed to best practices relating to craft/technology across multiple clients (success metrics involve deliverables within their craft/capability are being met, influencing client decisions and utilizing subject matter expertise to create new work on previous/existing or new clients.)
- Prioritize individual operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals (2000 billable hours).
- Contribute to evolv’s culture and personal development through collaborating well internally, displaying our core values, participating in internal initiatives (events/groups), and/or obtaining new certifications approved by leader.
- Help grow evolv by providing team member/client referrals and connecting with our internal network.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Needs 4+ years of experience with either Google, Azure, or AWS.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience of production experience coding in Java.
- Experience with API management and integrations.
- Experience in application development using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Knowledge of IAM: Authentication, Login & SSO, AD Integration.
- Knowledge of data retention and security best practices.
- Experience deploying cloud infrastructure in production.
- Experience in pipeline architecture (CI/CD).
- Experience in end-to-end encryption and key management.
- Experience in Sequence Diagrams, Deployment Diagrams, and State Diagrams.
- Strong understanding of DNS, ALB vs ELB use cases, HAProxy use cases and limitations, firewall configuration, API gateway use cases, WAF use cases, routing, and troubleshooting connectivity.
