We are seeking a talented and professional Manager (Solution Owner Skillset) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for defining and delivering solutions that create business value and address client needs.
• Connects strategy to execution by translating business priorities into clear outcomes, delivery plans, and technically feasible solutions.
• Partners closely with client stakeholders, delivery leaders, business analysts, and technical teams to shape solutions, align priorities, and drive successful outcomes.
• Independently leads discovery and solution definition for low to medium complexity products or workstreams.
• Owns backlog development and prioritization, translates client needs into actionable roadmaps, and partners closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions address business outcomes and user needs.
• Facilitates client conversations, guide design decisions, establish delivery and quality governance for their scope, and drive alignment across business and technical teams.
• Defines product scope and outcomes in partnership with business and technical stakeholders.
• Leads discovery for low-medium complexity projects, clarifies objectives and success criteria and translates business needs into prioritized product scope.
• Translates business goals into product strategy, roadmap and backlog.
• Conducts discovery to identify pain points and opportunities, connects requirements to business value, defines solution approach, and builds prioritized backlogs and roadmaps for low-medium complexity products.
• Own product outcomes by ensuring solutions deliver intended business value and address defined client needs.
• Leads client discovery and requirements gathering (when needed), validates solutions against expected outcomes, and facilitates sprint reviews to confirm value realization.
• Establish product governance and quality practices to ensure successful delivery.
• Defines acceptance criteria, supports UAT practices, partners on quality standards (e.g. reviews, testing), and ensures product readiness for release.
• Identifies product risks, dependencies and gaps early; drive mitigation and escalation as needed.
• Owns RAID updates for their scope, identifies emerging risks to product outcomes, and drives mitigation plans in partnership with delivery and technical teams.
• Facilitates collaboration across business, technical, and product teams to shape solutions and drive alignment.
• Leads cross-functional working sessions, clarifies dependencies, and ensures shared understanding of product direction.
• Owns product documentation and stakeholder communication for assigned scope.
• Maintains product artifacts (roadmaps, backlogs, requirements), prepares materials for leadership reviews, and communicates product progress and outcomes.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the client’s organizational dynamics and their impact on the engagement.
• Establish clear objectives on tasks and project outcomes with minimal client direction.
• Build rapport and adapt to a variety of stakeholder groups.
• Remain committed to successful delivery to the client on every engagement (success metrics involve deliverables met, client satisfaction, future project recommendations/extensions and collaboration).
• Prioritize individual operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals while driving their team members to complete necessary activities that target billable hours.
• Contribute to evolv’s culture and people development through collaborating well internally, serving as a trusted advocate of our mission/vision/core values, participates or leads in internal initiatives (events/groups), and/or obtains/motivates team to obtain new approved certifications.
• Help grow evolv by understanding how we build client partnerships and evolv brand. This includes uncovering new opportunities at clients, providing team member/client referrals and remaining connected within evolv’s internal network.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years managing delivery activities for defined workstreams.
• Experience leading discovery, backlog management, and roadmap development for low – medium complexity products.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (business, product, engineering) to deliver technology-enabled solutions.
• Experience supporting end-to-end product lifecycle (discovery → delivery → validation of outcomes).
• Skills:
  • Solid product ownership experience, including discovery, backlog management, and roadmap development for low – medium complexity solutions.
  • Experience leading discovery workshops to identify pain points, define success criteria, and shape solution approaches.
  • Strong facilitation skills across workshops, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and cross-functional working sessions.
  • Ability to define and manage product artifacts (user stories, acceptance criteria, roadmaps, backlogs).
  • Working technical fluency to collaborate with engineers and architects, assess feasibility, and understand system impacts.
  • Experience establishing product governance and quality practices (UAT support, acceptance criteria, readiness for release).
  • Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate product risks, dependencies, and gaps (RAID ownership).
  • Experience managing stakeholders, aligning expectations, and driving value-focused outcomes.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in client-facing environments.
• Delivery Methods:
  • Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery models.
  • Experience leading or facilitating sprint ceremonies (refinement, reviews, planning) and contributing to delivery execution.
• Tools:
  • Jira, Confluence
  • MS Project
  • SharePoint
  • Power BI/or equivalent project tracking tools
• Preferred Certifications:
  • PMP, SAFe, or equivalent delivery certification.
  • Product Owner certification (nice to have).
