Position Summary: 
 
EVgo is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Revenue to support our accounting team during a busy period. This role focuses on ensuring accurate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP standards (ASC 606 and ASC 842) and assisting with monthly close activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational accounting knowledge and can collaborate across teams. 
 
Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed, and supported in accordance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and internal controls 
  • Reconcile revenue reports and operating platform activity to ensure completeness and accuracy 
  • Reconcile and/or review general ledger accounts, roll-forward schedules; investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure timely data analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts 
  • Contribute to the monthly close process inclusive of accruals, journal entry postings, etc. 
  • Support ongoing implementation and testing efforts related to new financial systems 
  • Review and/or prepare quarterly and year-end audit schedules as requested by external auditors. 
  • Provide any audit support required  
  • Provide management oversight of the on-shore and off-shore revenue and accounts receivable team members 
  • Maintain documentation for key revenue and accounts receivable processes and evaluate current processes for improvement 
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting 
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects as required  

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of SOX and requirements to be compliant  
  • Strong project management skills and collaborative partner management  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; highly resourceful and displaying a "roll-up your sleeves" positive attitude  
  • Excel proficiency  
  • Deadline oriented and excellent time management skills to keep up with a fast-paced environment  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization and with external customers  
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus  
  • Certification of Public Accountancy (CPA) designation and public accounting experience highly preferred  
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience required, preferably in a progressive, high growth, and results-oriented environment 
For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $93,800.00 USD to $117,200.00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
