Position Summary: 
 
EVgo is one of the nation’s largest public fast-charging networks for electric vehicles. As the transition to electrification accelerates, our supply chain is critical to enabling growth and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Supply & Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team.
 
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that the right parts are available at the right time to support EVgo’s fast-growing charging network. You will own demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management for parts and components essential to our operations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the clean energy transition, while developing deep expertise in a dynamic, rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, manage, and refine demand forecasts for parts and components, leveraging historical data, sales insights, and market trends.
  • Translate demand forecasts into supply requirements, ensuring availability to support customer demand and operational goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels, establish appropriate safety stock, and proactively mitigate risks of stockouts or excess.
  • Partner with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to align supply plans with business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, lead times, and capacity constraints to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support new product introductions by modeling demand and planning initial supply requirements.
  • Continuously analyze demand variability, seasonality, and market dynamics to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Drive process improvements in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Provide leadership with regular reporting and insights on demand, supply, and inventory performance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for ERP/MRP planning systems and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience. 
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in supply and demand planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain discipline, preferably in a parts, hardware, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • APICS/CPIM or equivalent supply chain certification preferred.
 
For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $112,000.00 USD to  $126,00.00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
