Position Summary: 
 
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager/Sr Project Manager to lead the deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across various sites. This role involves managing all phases of construction projects from planning, permitting execution, closeout while ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for EV charging station installations.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure smooth execution.
    • Oversee site assessments, utility coordination, and civil/electrical construction activities.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as the primary construction point of contact for project stakeholders including site hosts, municipalities, and vendors.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively to leadership and partners.
  • Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Enforce safety standards and conduct regular site inspections.
  • Quality Control
    • Monitor, update, and maintain accurate project schedules and ensure schedule adherence by all assigned team members.
    • Monitor construction quality and ensure installations meet technical specifications and performance standards.
    • Manage punch lists and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.
  • Budget & Cost Control
    • Track project costs and manage change orders.
    • Review and approve invoices
    • Optimize resource allocation and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience. Some barriers to entry exist at this level, requiring department review.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, permitting processes, utility coordination, and 
  • project scheduling.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Site Tracker, MS Project, Excell).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience with EV charging technologies and standards 
  • Proficient in project scheduling, tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with NEC, ADA, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $130,000.00 USD to $160,000.00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
