About the role:


We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Engineer with proven leadership capabilities, deep technical acumen, and strong communication and collaboration skills to drive system-level testing initiatives in a fast-paced and innovative environment. In this role, you will lead the Systems Integration and Validation efforts across Enphase Energy’s diverse product portfolio, spanning multiple business units and global markets.

As a Sr, Engineer You will be responsible for publishing detailed test reports, writing the System test cases, Understanding the requirements, Raising the defects and working with Development team for any detailed information for the defects.

What you will do:  

  • Writing test planning, Test Design, Test execution, and reporting
  • Designing scalable test bed schematics
  • Contributing to the root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex system issues
  • Coordinating with global teams to ensure test coverage and consistency
  • Analysing the field defects and coming up with test cases, strategies to enhance System Test coverage.
Who you are and what you bring: 
 
  • Contributing to design, develop, and execute comprehensive system integration and end-to-end test plans, ensuring robust validation across diverse product configurations and global markets by utilizing the Domain knowledge
  • Part of technical reviews and engineering discussions, providing expert feedback on product and design specifications from a system test perspective, and translating requirements into detailed, actionable test scenarios.
  • implement system integration test strategies, including drawing test bed schematics, setting up multi-component systems in the lab, and ensuring seamless operation for Verification and validation activities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve system integration issues, applying deep technical analysis to maintain project momentum and ensure timely delivery.
  • Execute system-level tests independently, document and track defects, and provide detailed root cause analysis to drive resolution and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including development, product management, and project management—to triage defects, ensure timely fixes, and uphold release readiness.
  • Engage with Field Engineers and Customer Support teams to understand real-world product usage and pain points, feeding insights back into test coverage enhancements and system validation strategies.
  • Demonstrates exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills to investigate system-level defects in depth, identify root causes early in the product development cycle, and implement corrective actions that significantly enhance overall product quality and reliability.
  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with 3 to 6 years of experience in System validation, specializing in the integration of complex subsystems across diverse technologies.
  • A technical person with a proven track record of independently driving system-level testing initiatives, setting up and validating multi-component environments, and ensuring seamless subsystem interaction, operations
  • Skilled in working on multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining a clear focus on quality, delivery, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, with experience leading cross-functional engagements across engineering, product management, and field teams to align on test goals and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Hands-on knowledge in developing electrical schematics and working with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and grid simulators to support system integration testing.
  • Experience working with field teams to gather real-world data, translating insights into lab-based use cases and validation scenarios.
  • Detailed knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Electrical Systems, Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, Safety Systems, Automotive, IoT, Solar, EVSE, Battery Storage Systems, and Home Automation.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as TestRail, JIRA,Quality Center and Jama, enabling structured and traceable validation workflows.
