About the role
Enphase is seeking Salesforce Marketing Cloud Senior Engineer to develop and manage key features in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform. This would involve developing complex automations in the automation studio, corresponding data set up, developing external systems integrations, developing custom journey builder activities, etc.  on SFMC on a daily basis. This role is for a skilled software developer who comes with a strong technical background in various coding/programming languages, but with an interest in marketing in the renewable energy space.  The ideal candidate will be highly energetic and proactive in taking complete backend ownership of SFMC (automations, data, journeys and integrations) and support marketing operations team at Enphase in rolling-out new features/functionalities on the platform progressively. 
 
What you will do
  • Developing and integrating email templates, automated journeys, and landing pages using Marketing Cloud platforms
  • Develop complex SQL queries to create segmentation and necessary intermediate data sets required to cover various campaign and other needs in SFMC
  • Develop multi-step automations, including but not limited to, using query activities, data extract activities, etc
  • Develop, execute, and maintain complex SQL queries, AMPscript, and SSJS and HTML code for custom emails, complex cloud pages, reusable content blocks, dynamic content and preference center
  • Integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce products (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and external systems, such as e-commerce platforms, to create seamless marketing workflows.
  • Create, maintain and manage attribute groups in contact builder
  • Create data views to extract relevant data and push it to external systems through automations for reporting, sales, and various other use cases
  • Work closely with other marketing operations team members to develop proofs of concept for new features and functionalities on SFMC
  • Responsible for managing IP reputation/sender score on SFMC by proactively flagging and setting up right checks and balances that are needed to avoid spam/reputation issues.
  • Implementing and maintaining security protocols for marketing data in Marketing Cloud platforms
  • Collaborating with Salesforce administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with the organization's business goals and strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and features of Marketing Cloud platforms to continuously improve marketing initiatives
Who you are and what you bring
  • Degree in Computer Science Engineering/IT/Electronics and Communication Engineering or other equivalent fields
  • An ideal candidate would have about 3-4 years of overall work experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Should have at least one of the following certifications - Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Email Specialist certifications or Cloud Consultant
  • Prior experience in integrating SFMC with Salesforce and other external systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of SFMC and Sales Cloud data models/architecture
  • Proven proficiency in HTML, CSS, AMPscript, SSJS, JavaScript, React, Angular etc.
  • Familiarity with other marketing technologies like Google Analytics, social media marketing tools, and content management systems
  • Experience using SOAP and REST APIs, and using tools like POSTMAN
  • Ability to use contact builder and do data modeling while configuring update contact activities, etc
  • Sound knowledge of design principles and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome
  • Self-directed and can thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Any experience with mobile studio, BI tools will be preferrable
