Job Details:

The Director of Web Development & dev ops is responsible for developing, executing, and coordinating Enphase’s web strategy globally. This leader will ensure Enphase.com excels in the attributes of a world-class website: visually beautiful, easy to navigate, with relevant and original content; technically responsively designed and mobile friendly, with fast load speeds, optimized for SEO, secure, and built on a smart a site architecture, and leveraging the latest technology and tools that make our website useful and commercially successful. This leader will manage team members and contribute to team development and growth. They will have extensive relevant experience and a track record of success with managing projects and building websites from design to launch.

Responsibilities: 

  • Owns the technology stack, publishing platform, development tools, and processes for the website development team
  • Responsible for site security, performance, uptime, and deployment of all web pages, features, and tools worldwide
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain DevOps pipelines for development, test, and production environments
  • Contribute to a team responsible for the engineering automation, release coordination, and testing automation of scalable, cloud-based digital experiences
  • Owns and drives the Delivery team with processes, frameworks, and toolsets that champion automated infrastructure
  • Support the QA team with processes, frameworks, and toolsets that champion automated testing
  • Perform root cause analysis for environment and applications issues
  • Lead planning and coordination of infrastructure/environment updates
  • Lead definition of best practices DevOps standards
  • Collaborate with Security Team and Partners to ensure the website is secure and optimized for performance

Skills and Requirements: 

  • A leader who is used to getting hands dirty with your team, including participating in on-call with your team.
  • Proven experience in rapid and continuous web releases
  • At least 8+ years in leadership roles with a proven and consistent history of leading web & mobile teams
  • Able to drive productivity and motivate a team to full project completion

Work Management/Communication Qualifications:

  • Highly developed negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills to mediate priority conflicts in an effective and collaborative manner
  • Must work well under pressure, be sensitive to deadlines, be able to interact in a team environment, be able to adapt quickly to change, and possess good customer service skills

Desired experience:

  • 15+ years managing & building large-scale websites, developing highly scalable distributed systems and processes in a cloud environment
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or A background in combining web development, Drupal CMS, Development lifecycle, and marketing technologies with enterprise applications will be helpful.
  • Strong analytical abilities to analyze customer data and determine if strategies are effective in enhancing the customer experience
  • Deep understanding and experience working on distributed/high trafficked systems, and preferably real-time systems and workflows with an emphasis on end-to-end speed.

Salary range: $180,000 - $235,000 per year
