Overview
 

Edifecs is looking for a Sr Product Analyst to ensure that market and product requirements are appropriately reflected and implemented in Edifecs Products. The Product Analyst is the main liaison between the Product Manager and the engineering team and serves as the expert on the functionality of the assigned product. The Sr Product Analyst often supports other groups, such as sales, implementation, and technical support.  The Product Analyst is responsible for owning the sequencing and scheduling of the product backlog, building software epics, user stories and success criteria, and identifying ways to continually improve the product and software development process in alignment with the product strategy and engineering team.

What you will do:

  • Partner with the Product Manager to understand and execute the product vision
  • Function as an Agile product owner, including but not limited to owning the backlog of the product that feeds into Agile sprint planning
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, focus groups, document analysis, requirements workshops, workflow definitions, use cases, and scenarios using industry best practice methods
  • Identify and interpret requirements by analyzing and understanding industry-defined companion guides and specifications (e.g., interoperability standards, [product-specific standard]).
  • Participate in research and market analyses to proactively identify market-leading product features and enhancements
  • Triage requests from multiple sources and distinguish customer requests from underlying product needs in alignment with the product strategy
  • Collaborate with other Product Analysts to identify and plan cross-product dependencies and opportunities
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
  • Decompose product needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, user interface design and interfaces in collaboration with subject matter experts, engineering and design
  • Collaborate with engineering to execute the Release Process
  • Effectively communicate with development team members, customers, Customer Success and Account Management teams on upcoming and completed product releases
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Utilize tools and processes established within the Product Management organization
  • Understand and apply company policies and procedures

 

What you will bring

  • 4-6 years of product management/analyst experience
  • BS or MS Computer Sciences or MBA-related fields; Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) and/or Healthcare (AHM 250) is a plus. 
  • 2+ years working within the healthcare technology space
  • 2+ years of experience with product management
  • Previous experience in technical product development

 

Note: The expected base pay range for this position is $112,000 -  $164,000 per year.
