People Inc’s Central Creative Video team is looking for a research-obsessed Associate Producer to help us craft new Youtube series for brands like Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure.
This isn't your standard production role; we need a story-hunter who knows how to dig deep. You will be the research engine behind our newest pilots, focusing on doc-style, YouTube-first content that feels authentic, elevated, and platform-native.
 Assignment Details:
40 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
End date: March 31st 2026 with possibility of extension
Hourly Rate: $56.25
Location: New York DDM Office/Hybrid
Assignment Responsibilities: 
  • Unearth the unique stories, experts, and "hidden gem" locations that make our food and travel content stand out.
  • Conduct pre-interviews and build research briefs that help our directors find the narrative "hook" in unscripted environments.
  • Apply a deep understanding of YouTube trends and audience behavior to ensure our pilots are built for engagement from day one.
  • Ensure every topic/concept is rigorous, accurate, and lives up to the standards of our iconic brands
Skills/Experience:
  • 5 years prior experience in social video research with a proven track record in Youtube videos
  • Hyper-aware of cultural trends and what makes a video topic work on YouTube
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally
  • A curious, "all hands on deck" collaborator who thrives in the fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
