The Details
- January 2026- April 2026, with the option to continue through Summer and Fall 2026
- 20-25 hours a week
- On-site
- Lexington
- Equine Focus
Educational Requirements
- Junior or Senior enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability to manage both their work schedule and class schedule without one interfering with the other. Need to be able to work the schedule agreed upon.
Position Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work on a fast-paced and collaborative team.
- Ability to work independently on trained tasks.
- Must have strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple clients and task work.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Professional attitude when dealing with clients, vendors, or confidential information.
- Strong ethical grounding and integrity since working with financial and confidential information.
Technical Skills
- Accounting Software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, etc.., preferred not required
- Proficient in Excel, Word, etc…
- Familiar with the use of Microsoft Teams, Outlook and/or WebEx
