POSITION SUMMARY:

Ramsey Solutions is on the hunt for a Senior Director of Publicity & Media Relations to drive the charge in elevating our message of hope and financial freedom. With a strong focus on publicity (80%) and an additional focus on public relations (20%), you’ll lead the charge to make sure our voice stays strong and true in the media world.

This is not your typical PR gig. We’re talking about pushing boundaries, building relationships with top-tier media, and getting our message into the hands of the people who need it most. You’ll help steer the ship, overseeing our personalities’ publicity efforts while also playing a key role in shaping public perception. In short, you’ll help take the Ramsey brand – and our personalities – to the next level.

- Expanding Our Reach: You’ll be the driver behind making sure Ramsey Personalities are in the right conversations with the right people. Major media outlets will know our names, and more people will hear the life-changing messages we share every day.
- Handling Crisis with Confidence: When the unexpected happens, you and the team will navigate us through the storm with grace and clarity, protecting the integrity of our brand and coming out stronger on the other side.
- Creating Publicity That Breaks Through: Your bold and creative approach will land us in conversations that matter. You’ll ensure that the Ramsey message of hope and transformation isn’t just heard but felt – loud and clear.
- A Team That Fires on All Cylinders: Your leadership will empower a team of four (4) that’s not only high-performing but deeply connected to our mission. Together, you’ll set bold goals and blow past them.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

- A fan of Ramsey Solutions.
- 7-10+ years of experience in publicity and media relations, with a track record of securing high-profile placements in national media.
- 5+ years of current leadership experience coaching a publicity/PR team.
- Proven experience in crisis communication and reputation management, with the ability to quickly assess and address negative situations.
- Experience leading publicity campaigns for prominent talent, personalities, or brands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with media and audiences.
- Strong media relationships across a wide range of channels, including print, broadcast, and digital.
- Collaborative business partner with the ability to build strong, open working relationships characterized by mutual respect.
- Bold, humble, self-aware, smart, and confident servant leader who seeks the betterment of the team and organization at large versus themselves.
- Always in tune with the “pulse” of the organization; a demonstrated track record of influencing, listening, building trust, and affecting change.
