Salary: $81,000–$120,000/year* + profit sharing + benefits

Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. What You’d Do in This Role:

In Ramsey Education, we're on a mission to empower educators and students through life-changing content through teaching personal finance and financial literacy. We need talented engineers to help us create the groundwork of a better financial future for the next generation. We’re looking for a Software Engineer 3 to join our team and deliver software solutions that impact thousands of students and educators nationwide.

You’re Probably a Match If:

• You have 4+ years of proven experience in software engineering, specifically within Java, Ruby on Rails, or Kotlin highly preferred.
• You are a team player who thrives in cross-functional settings, working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• You are able to think creatively and use technology to solve real business challenges.
• You have strong communication skills and are able to engage beyond code with other team members to align with business goals.
• You are comfortable working in an environment with shifting priorities and evolving needs.
• You are willing to listen, learn, and work toward common goals with humility and flexibility.

What Winning Looks Like:

• Writing, testing, and shipping high-quality code, contributing to the creation of digital products that will change the lives of the next generation
• Working within architectural designs to build features and services for Ramsey Ed’s LMS platform
• Developing software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable, meeting deadlines without compromising quality
• Focus on writing thorough integration tests and documentation, ensuring solutions are well-tested and shareable
• Constantly growing in your understanding of Ramsey Ed products, applying business knowledge when designing technical solutions
• Participating in user interviews to uncover pain points and contribute to meaningful product improvements
• Partnering with fellow engineers to improve the overall skillset of the team through knowledge sharing
