The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for facilitating process enhancements using Kanban principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and lead a team of project managers to identify opportunities for improvement, optimize flow, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic business initiatives. Building strong relationships and trust within teams will be a key focus to drive effective collaboration and achieve organizational goals.
What Winning Looks Like:
- Process Optimization: Lead the implementation of Kanban methodology to improve operational efficiency, reduce cycle times, and positively impact overall workflow.
- Change Management: Identify, analyze, and collaborate on solutions to address process inefficiencies. Drive initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Team Management: Directly supervise and coach a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance their effectiveness and career growth.
- Team Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders. Foster an environment of trust, open communication, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Strategic Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of key projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact of improvement initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training and support to teams on Kanban principles, continuous improvement practices, and effective teamwork strategies.
Skills Needed to Win:
- Experience: Proven track record in implementing Kanban and continuous improvement methodologies with cross-functional teams.
- Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a team of project managers.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse teams.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage change, and drive successful project outcomes.
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
$100,000 - $120,000/year* + profit sharing + benefits
