Job Description  
CSCI Consulting is looking for a Budget Analyst with 1-3 years’ experience supporting government agencies in Financial Management. This position is a hybrid role that will require going into Scott AFB 2-3 days a week and remote the other days.  
  
Responsibilities  
  • Provide daily support to the client’s staff of Resource Advisors, as well as being responsible to government team leads in preparing monthly budget execution reports and supporting annual (fiscal year) budget development and close-out processes.
  • Prove support that includes gathering historical data for auditing purposes, reconciling the open document listing, and ensuring accounts are balanced and all Transportation Working Capital Fund (TWCF) operating funds are expensed and/or revenues are properly posted.
  • Utilize client metrics to evaluate and present financial data to the organization’s senior leadership to effectively portray the financial health of the organization.
  • Utilize automated management/financial information systems (e.g. Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS), Information Tool Suite (ITS), Commander's Resource Integration System (CRIS), Electronic Document Access (EDA), etc.) in performing fact finding, analytical, budget, and advisory functions.
  • Actively participate in client discussions and meetings and may be tasked to produce white papers (thought papers), Standard Operating Procedures/Standard Repeatable Processes (SOPs/SRPs), briefings, point papers, project plans and schedules, and to plan and execute ad hoc financial studies.
  • Support a government agencies CFO organization in a DoD joint command.
  • Utilize MS Excel to develop financial reports and efficiencies within budget processes.
  
Minimum Requirements  
  • All candidates must have an active DoD Secret clearance or be able to pass a federal background investigation.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in financial management/budget analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in related field.
  • A degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience in developing financial reports.
  • Financial management experience with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Steady and reliable contributor with the ability to be calm in all circumstances.
