Job Description

CSCI is looking for a programmer with at least 2+ years' experience coding in SQL, Python, or DataBricks to assist in building automated data reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Use project approved technologies to develop coding scripts for standardized reconciliation processes.
  • Executes project tasks including, but not limited to, primary research, requirements development, business modeling, testing, and documentation.
  • Perform reconciliation validation and gap analysis assessment for General Ledger Systems and provide recommendations to the client.
  • Analyze unmatched transactions to determine trends and identify root cause buckets and anomalies within data sets.
  • Provide auditable workbooks and deliverables to the client to assist with variance research and analysis.
  • Performs tasks with direct to moderate supervision of senior staff.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, statistics, or related technical field.
  • Ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret Clearance
  • 2+ years programming experience using SQL, Python, or DataBricks.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with financial services, primarily involving reconciliations.
  • Experience with Audit Command Language (ACL).
  • Experience with Advana (DoD's data analytics platform).
  • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
  • Department of Defense experience is a plus.
