CSCI Consulting is looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. This position prefers support local to either Indianapolis or Kansa City. The role supports the client in areas of software development within an Agile methodology framework.
 
Responsibilities
  • The consultant shall provide technical analysis and recommendations for implementing a standard user interface/experience.
  • The consultant shall make technical recommendations based on impacts to software, hardware and support services under contract.
  • The consultant shall make technical recommendations that summarize development and integration requirements, key risks, rough timelines to implement, and any other cost or schedule factors associated with alternatives. 
  • Perform QA testing of web-based software solutions and participate in execution of test scenarios to ensure application changes meet the stated requirements as well as ensure no unintended changes were introduced to the finished product. 
Minimum Requirements 
  • 3+ years web/application development experience with strong proven understanding of Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Data. 
  • 3+ years development experience of building and supporting server-side components using RESTful services. 
  • 3+ years development experience of building and supporting backend Oracle-based SQL.
  • DOD Secret Security Clearance (Interim Secret to start).
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Skills 
  • Experience in software development as a developer, with at least 2 years working on sophisticated IT projects/initiatives in an Agile methodology framework. 
  • Development experience with Angular 12+, SASS, TypeScript, and Node JS experience. 
  • Development experience using State Management libraries (NgRx). 
  • Experience building and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools. 
  • Development experience using Maven. 
  • Development experience using Struts. 
  • iText experience. 
  • Security+ Certification. 
  • Experience in software development as a developer, with at least 2 years working on sophisticated IT projects/initiatives in an Agile methodology framework. 
  • Development experience with Angular 12+, SASS, TypeScript, and Node JS experience.
  • Development experience using State Management libraries (NgRx).
