Courtyard by Marriott Dayton Beavercreek is looking for a top-performing Hotel Bistro, Server, Bartender, and Cook.
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Cook Server Bartender to join our vibrant team in the hospitality industry. This multifaceted role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food, drinks, and customer service. In this position, you will be a key player in creating memorable experiences for our guests by delivering quality service and mouth-watering dishes. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food by our menu standards, while also ensuring cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. As a Server, you will engage with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience. Finally, as a Bartender, you will craft both classic and innovative cocktails, providing guests with a lively bar experience. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and demonstrates a passion for hospitality. Some Key Areas of Responsibility of the Hotel Cook, Server, and Bartender include:
- Prepare and maintain a work station including proper labeling and dating, as well as cleanliness
- Follow standardized recipes
- Maintain adequate protein internal cooking temperatures
- Check the quality of ingredients, as well as monitor stock and advise of shortages
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Proven experience as a cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina, standing for a minimum of 8 hours
- High school diploma or equivalent; A Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
