Hourly pay is $15.27 plus tips

Currently, we are looking for full-time Bartenders in the FIRE Restaurant located in the ART Hotel.
Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility include:
- Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
- Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
- Collect payments, settle patron checks, and ensure tabs are paid, as well as record daily sales totals in the point-of-sale system
- Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
Requirements:
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
- Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
