Currently, we are looking for a top-performing Hotel Bartender and Server.
Our busy restaurant, The Public House, is looking for a hotel bartender and server with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service so our patrons have a great time at our bar. The Hotel Bartender and Server will take customer orders, mix various traditional and creative cocktails, make beer and wine recommendations, and keep the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This Hotel Bartender and Server position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude.
We offer convenient access to I-285, I-75, and US 41, making travel to top area attractions, including Georgia Aquarium, Six Flags, and the Mercedes Benz Stadium, a breeze. Our complimentary shuttle will bring guests to local businesses and to Truist Park and The Battery, home of the Atlanta Braves. Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Bartender and Server include:
- Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
- Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
- Collect payments, settle patron checks, and ensure tabs are paid, as well as record daily sales totals in the point-of-sale system
- Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
Requirements for the Hotel Bartender and Server include:
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
- Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand during the entire shift
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays
