Hotel Indigo Vinings Atlanta - The Public House restaurant is looking for a detail-oriented Hotel Line Cook with exceptional time management abilities who are passionate about providing our clients with a memorable dining experience. As our next Hotel Line Cook, you will ensure that every dish is cooked and presented following appropriate recipes and presentation standards and with accuracy for the guest's order. We need an experienced hotel line cook who is comfortable with various cooking techniques such as poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, and baking. Our ideal Hotel Line Cook is a team player who can successfully communicate with other kitchen staff to keep our restaurant running efficiently. Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Line Cook include:

• Establish a system of food stations and stock them with all of the necessary ingredients for the shift
• Cook food orders at stations by following established recipes and presentation standards for grilling, broiling, and sautéing menu items
• Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served
• Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, following health and safety regulations
• Demonstrate a professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates

Requirements for Hotel Line Cook include:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
• Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic 

Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays
