Hyatt Regency Aurora Conference Center Hotel is seeking a Banquet Bartender who is ready to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to our special event guests. We are looking for someone courteous and attentive to welcome guests, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Banquet Bartender will be working closely with banquet servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff, so we need a associate with a team-first attitude. Our ideal On-Call Banquet Bartender has worked in a guest facing role in food service or the hospitality industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities for Banquet Bartender include:
- Take guest orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
- Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
- Collect payments, ensure tabs are paid and record event sales in the point-of-sale system
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties, setup and breakdown of event bars
About You
- Educational requirements basic math skills and providing accurate change
- Communicate effectively with guests and should be able to stay positive and calm
- Interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
- Previous bartending experience is required
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends & holidays
