PART TIME AVAILABILITY, Saturday and Sunday Mornings.
  
  
Courtyard by Marriott Cincinnati Airport is looking for a Part-Time Hotel Restaurant Bistro Server with outstanding communication and customer service skills to work with us! The Part-Time Hotel Restaurant Bistro Server will be responsible for greeting and serving customers, handling client complaints, and assuring compliance with all food and beverage safety rules.

Our newly renovated property is near Downtown Cincinnati and just 25 minutes from the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum! Local companies nearby include Toyota, ADM, Fives, Wayfair, DHL, St. Elizabeth, Schneider Electric, Amazon, Kroger, Coesia, Carl Zeiss, and many more.

  Some Key Areas of Part-Time Restaurant Hotel Server Responsibility include:  
  • Assist co-workers when needed throughout the shift
  • Ability to Prepare food to Spec
  • Requests identification from customers when legal age is questioned
  • Use of proper serving procedures as outlined in the certification/training program
  • Provides beverage service, writes orders, and serves to guests promptly
  • Enters tickets into the POS system and prepares items as written
  • Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving
  • Makes every effort to obtain the customer’s name and use it a minimum of 2 times during the meal
  • Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when the meal has been completed
  • Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to Cashier promptly
  • Ladles soup, tosses salads, portions pies, and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as determined by the establishment’s size and practices
  • Clears and resets tables after each course and resets tables when the customer departs
  • When approached with a problem, the associate will always empower themselves to assist the customer in resolving the problem
  • Complete all daily sidewalk
Requirements for the Part-Time Hotel Restaurant Bistro Server include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Must remain in full uniform (including name tag) at all times
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
