Fairfield Inn & Suites Canton South is looking for a reliable and hardworking Hotel Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or Guest Room Attendant to join our team.  As a hotel housekeeper, guest room attendant, or room attendant. The Hotel Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or Guest Room Attendant will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay. The Hotel Housekeeper, Guest Room Attendant, or Guest Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our guest rooms and common areas, ensuring that our high standards are met. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or Guest Room Attendant include:       
  • Clean and arrange hotel rooms following our hotel’s standards before guest arrival
  • Maintain common spaces, including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
  • Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
  • Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items, and any damage or repairs needed
  • Answer general questions from guests
         
Requirements for the Hotel Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or Guest Room Attendant include:
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
  • Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
 
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
