Hampton Inn & Suites Minot Airport we are looking for a top-performing Hotel Houseperson and Shuttle Driver!

Our Award winning Hampton Inn & Suites Minot Airport is looking for a Hotel Houseperson and Shuttle Driver, who is over 21 years old, with a clean driving record, excellent people skills, an eye for detail, and is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable experience at our hotel. We need a multi-talented individual who can perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to the following:

  • Drive the shuttle
  • Assist guests with luggage
  • Janitorial cleaning of public spaces
  • Testing of pool chemicals
  • Preparing and cleaning the meeting room
  • Minor room maintenance

Responsibilities include keeping hotel public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobby. The Hotel Houseperson and Shuttle Driver will also make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding, and complete any special projects as directed by housekeeping managers. Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Maintenance and Shuttle Driver include:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the guest rooms and hallways, as well as the lobby and other workspaces
  • Deliver requested amenities such as rollaway beds, cribs, blankets, etc. to guest rooms
  • Check all allocated floors at the start of each shift and during the day to collect garbage, soiled linen, and other items as directed by management
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to visitors’ requests
  • Restock linen supply on each floor by transporting clean linen to the housekeeping storage facilities
  • Operate hotel shuttle van per schedule
  • Extend courteous service to all guests; assisting with luggage as needed
  • Maintain proper trip logs and reports
  • Fill van as needed with fuel, and maintain cleanliness and condition
  • Serve as valet if requested by the guest
  • Suggest outside attractions to guests and interact, when possible, with help to questions, etc.
  • Assist with maintaining lobby and public space cleanliness and organization
  • Assist with maintaining the coffee and beverage area
  • Assist with the setup of the meeting room 
  • Run errands or pick up items as required by the supervisor

 

Requirements for the Hotel Maintenance and Shuttle Driver include:

  • 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning and maintenance techniques and products
  • Hard worker with solid time management, organizational, and communication skills

Applicants must be able to work weekends, days, nights, overnights & holidays.
