Come Join Our Team! We are looking for a top performing On-Call Banquet Server.
Hyatt Regency Aurora Conference Center Hotel is seeking hotel Banquet Servers who are ready to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to our special event guests. We are looking for someone courteous and attentive to welcome guests, serve meals and drinks, clear plates and utensils, and meet any special orders or needs that our guests may have. The hotel Banquet Server will be working closely with other servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff, so we need a server with a team-first attitude. Our ideal On-Call Banquet Server has worked in a guest facing role in food service or the hospitality industry.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Banquet Server include:
- Provide excellent service to all guests from start to finish of special events
- Deliver and serve appetizers, main courses, condiments, desserts, and other side dishes, as well as drinks to guests
- Carry coffee pots, water pitchers, and other drinks around the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as requested
- Remove plates, replace utensils, and keep an eye out for spills or any special needs from guests
- Follow all food and safety guidelines as well as ensure that the entire team is adhering to the same food handling standards
Requirements for Banquet Servers include:
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Experience working in food service is preferred
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
