Springhill Suites Baldwin Center is looking for a top-performing Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Desk Agent.
The Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Desk Agent anticipated working hours from 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. with some flexibility.
Springhill Suites Baldwin is searching for a Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Desk Agent eager to provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests and ensure they have all they need during their stay. As the first person to greet customers, you will check guests in, make reservations, recommend local activities or restaurants, and arrange transportation. Our ideal Hotel Front Desk Agent, Guest Service Agent, or Front Desk Clerk is outgoing and confident, enjoys working with people, and pays close attention to the details. Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Office Agent include:
  • Welcome all guests and confirm bookings upon their arrival
  • Act as a point of contact for guests who require help or information and attend to their wants and needs
  • Arrange activities, excursions, and transportation for hotel guests per their request
  • Provide the best local recommendations, gather in-depth knowledge about the premises as well as surrounding venues and businesses
  • Handle and distribute messages and mail, as well as redirect calls by answering the phone and making reservations
  • Answer any issues or complaints made by guests and come up with solutions quickly
Requirements for the Hotel Front Desk Clerk, Guest Service Agent, or Front Office Agent include:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • One year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
  • Knowledge of the local area to make recommendations for a variety of services
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems

Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
