Currently, we are looking for a top-performing Hotel Breakfast Attendant.

Springhill Suites Downtown Cincinnati Baldwin Center is looking for a Breakfast Attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. The Hotel Breakfast Attendant or Breakfast Server will be responsible for setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well stocked. Additional responsibilities for the Hotel Breakfast Attendant or Server include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests’ cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. Our ideal Hotel Breakfast Attendant or Server is enthusiastic about customer service and has experience working in a food service role.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for Hotel Breakfast Attendants or Servers include:

  • Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
  • Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
  • Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
  • Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
  • Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
  • Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment

 

Requirements for Hotel Breakfast Attendants or Servers include:

  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Experience working in food service is preferred
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
  • Ability to stand during the entire shift
  • Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
