The newly built Homewood Suites Newport Ovation is looking for a top-performing Hotel Executive Housekeeper.
Homewood Suites Newport Ovation Hotel is searching for a motivated Hotel Housekeeping Executive Housekeeper eager to perform impeccable housekeeping services while managing our housekeeping team and providing our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. As the Hotel Housekeeping Executive Housekeeper, you will lead the housekeeping team, ensure team members comply with high cleanliness and sanitation protocol standards, and oversee the housekeeping department budget. The ideal Hotel Housekeeping Executive Housekeeper will have experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. We highly encourage you to apply if you have excellent communication skills and leadership experience.  
 
The Homewood Suites is Hilton’s flagship, upscale, extended-stay brand, and this hotel will be built to Hilton’s newly updated design standards. Catering to both leisure and business travelers alike, Homewood’s guests can look forward to the extra space provided by rooms with separate sleeping and living areas, fully equipped kitchens and full-sized refrigerators.   
 
The hotel, located at 201 West 4th Newport, will also have a plaza-level restaurant with a bar and a rooftop bar that will overlook the unique views of the riverfront and Cincinnati skyline.   
Additional amenities will include a fitness center, on-site laundry facilities, and access to the planned Ovation Membership Club. This state-of-the-art health and wellness club will feature a full-service spa, group exercise classes, locker rooms, meeting space, and dedicated floors for both cardio and free weights, all nestled around a heated roof deck pool.

Some Key Areas of Responsibilities for the Opening Hotel Executive Housekeeper include:

  • Ensures cleanliness standards are maintained in all guest rooms, public areas, storage areas, and laundry facilities.
  • Schedules staff according to standards and forecasted occupancies.
  • Conducts monthly linen inventory with an understanding of usage.
  • Creation and documentation of deep cleaning schedules for all rooms, carpets, and public spaces.
  • Maintains open communication between associates and management and monitors associate relations.

Requirements for the Opening Hotel Executive Housekeeper include:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to enforce standards for cleanliness as they apply to all aspects of rooms/suites.
  • Ability to physically move large objects such as carts, large bags of linen, mattresses.
  • Excellent organization skills, manages time well, correctly prioritizes and is flexible.

Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
